Hundreds of children were feted on Saturday by the Guyana Police Force’s ‘A’ Division Youth Group at D’Urban Park, Homestretch Avenue.
A release from the police said that children from areas such as Tiger Bay, Timehri, Mocha, Swan, East Ruimveldt, Yarrowkabra, Circuit Ville, Golden Grove, Central Georgetown, Albouystown, Charlestown, and Alberttown among others had an enjoyable time.
Commander of ‘A’ Division, Clifton Hicken said the celebration started in 2014 and now there are 17 youth groups with over 1250 members.
