Pink Ribbon Walk funds handed over to Cancer Institute: The money raised from the Nestle Svelty Pink Ribbon Walk hosted on October 8, 2016 has been handed over to the Cancer Institute of Guyana, according to a release from 360 Marketing.
Feliz Robertson, a consultant for 360 Marketing, handed over $250,000 to the Institute’s General Manager Fiona Legall and its Medical Director Dr Sayan Chakraborty on Monday. The money will go towards helping those who may not be able to afford some aspects of treatment or cancer screening at the Institute, the release said.
