A number of unsavoury practices were highlighted when the Guyana Draughts Association (GDA) held its Annual General meeting and awards ceremony last Saturday at 185 Waterloo Street, Georgetown.
According to a press release from the GDA, persons outside of the association are not only soliciting funds but are also staging private matches in contravention of the rules of the GDA.
