Two Venezuelan nationals were on Thursday remanded to prison after being charged possession of an unlicensed shotgun and ammunition.

The firearm and ammunition were allegedly found on April 20, at Eteringbang Landing, Cuyuni River.

The prosecution further stated that the file was incomplete.

Both Sevilla and Martinez were refused bail and the matter was adjourned by the Chief Magistrate to June 20, when it will be called at the Kamarang Magistrate’s Court.
