The body of an unidentified male was pulled from the trench along Church Street yesterday afternoon after it was discovered floating by school children who were playing at the Merriman Mall around 3:15 pm.
One woman who operates a snackette in the mall told this newspaper that earlier in the day she saw the “object floating” but did not check since she believed it was a piece of cardboard.
