Two labourers were yesterday charged with stealing a little over $80,000 in lights from the Gafoors building at Houston.
Dane Williams and Ricardo Kemraj are accused of stealing the lights, which were affixed to the building, between October 14 and November 12. Williams and Kemraj, who had been labourers working at Gafoors, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Georgetown Magistrate Dylon Bess granted each defendant his release on $100,000 bail and adjourned the matter to December 6, when it will be heard by the Chief Magistrate.
