Georgetown Football Club (GFC) were denied their first win in the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Stag Beer Elite League as a Travis Grant 86th minute goal secured Pele a 1-1 result yesterday at the Leonora Sports Facility.
With the score 1-0 in favour of GFC, Grant snatched the dramatic equaliser as a punched clearance from the GFC goalkeeper fell into the path of Gregory Richardson who fired his effort goal bound only to witness it take a fortuitous deflection and fall into the path of the midfielder who slotted the ball home.
