The Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) has again partnered with Trophy Stall to stage a three category Open singles competition commencing tomorrow at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
According to a press release, the GBA was extremely pleased that Trophy Stall Managing Director Ramesh Sunich has again thrown his support behind the initiative yet again.
The tournament will see competition in the Under 11, 13 and 17 categories and prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place finishers.
President of the GBA Gokarn Ramdhani the week-long tourney has already attracted some 40 entrants.
“The tournament, which will run for one week, already has 40 entries in the different ages and it is expected to be a very competitive and
exciting tournament and players are asked to be on time and dressed in sportswear as all rules will be in effect,” said Ramdhani.

Wednesday 11th: Under-17 & Open Singles (5:00pm-8:00pm)
Saturday 14th: (Under-11 & 13 Singles and all Finals (9:30am-12:30pm)
