East Coast Demerara secured an innings and 19-run win over West Berbice while Upper Corentyne and West Demerara played to a draw when round four of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Jaguars three-day Franchise League ended yesterday.
After rain washed out the two first days at Tuschen, a brief passage of play began around 12:30hrs as both West Demerara and Upper Corentyne sought to scrap for much need points on the final day.
After winning the toss West Demerara, batting first, declared at 107-7 in their first innings while Upper Corentyne confirmed their declaration with the score 10-2 after seamers Romario Shepherd and Raymon Reifer each claimed s wicket in their first over.
