The Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF) staged its Raw Championships yesterday at the Critchlow Labour College.
In excess of 40 lifters took part in the championships format of the sport that requires less performance-enhancing attire and guarantees more of a level playing field for all athletes in participation.
Nadina Taharally and Romario Gonsalves were two of the standout lifters.
