City demolishes ‘ugly’ stalls at Merriman Mall

City Hall last evening demolished several stalls located along the Merriman Mall between Cummings and Light streets, Georgetown and according to Town Clerk, Royston King they are just removing the “ugliness”. “We are just removing the ugliness to create a picture of excellence and beauty”, King said. King explained that not all the stalls are being demolished but only the ones that are made of old wood, plastic and vinyl.
