$4M bribery accused granted $1.5M bail each

Sharmila Inderjali and Maryanne Lionel, the two women who allegedly offered a police officer $4 million in cash to release the accused in the murder of Number 70 Village carpenter Faiyaz Narinedatt, were yesterday each granted $1.5 million bail by a city Magistrate.

Bail in the sum of $1,500,000 each, was granted to Inderjali, 45, and Lionel, 25, after their lawyer made another  application on their behalf to Magistrate Leron Daly.
