Break and enter accused remanded

A West Ruimveldt resident was on Thursday remanded to prison after being charged with breaking and entering a house of another and stealing home appliances.

Georgetown magistrate Faith McGusty heard that on January 16, at Cummings Street, Georgetown, Carlos Brathwaite, 36, broke and entered the home of Hemchandra Kissoon and stole a Sharp TV, valued at $69,000, an iron and a DVD Player, valued at $14,000 in total.
