A Linden man was yesterday remanded for allegedly dousing the mother of his children with an acidic substance, damaging more than half of her body, last Thursday evening in New Amsterdam.
Alfred De Younge, 34, of Amelia’s Ward, Linden appeared at the Albion Magistrate’s Court, where he was read the charge of attempted murder. The charge read that De Younge with the intent to commit murder, caused grievous bodily harm upon Shondell Williamson of 13 Main Street, New Amsterdam.
Magistrate Marisa Mittelholzer refused bail for the accused and transferred the case to the New Amsterdam Magistrate’s Court, where De Younge is
