Albouystown health centre being used for illicit activities – city councillors

While the restoration of the Albouystown Health Centre remains incomplete, city councilors have voiced concern over the structure being used for illicit activities.

At a statutory council meeting on Monday, constituency representative Malcolm Ferreira said the building is being used for unintended purposes and called on the Mayor and City Council (M&CC) to quickly complete the repairs.

The M&CC began rehabilitation works last year March. The works were pegged at $3 million and were expected to be completed in May. However, with City Hall being cash strapped, the works were not completed.
