The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) yesterday held its Annual General Meeting at the at the GCB’s La Bonne Intention Hostel which was then followed by a press conference.
As expected the election of office bearers for the next two years was not held because all three of the county boards that comprise the GCB failed to hold their AGM and election of office bearers as required by the Guyana Cricket Administration Act (GCAA).
Additionally, Secretary of the GCB, Anand Sanasie, said that there were no elections simply because of the existing court orders adding that once the matters are heard then the GCB would proceed with the elections according to the GCAA.
