A man and his reputed wife were on Tuesday granted bail after they were charged with being in possession of over six pounds of cannabis, which they claimed belonged to a family member.
Louis Cupertino, 29 and Felicia Madikin, 18, were read a charge of cannabis possession by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, which alleged that on January 27 at Moco-Moco, Village, Rupununi, they had in their possession 3kg of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
