GBA looking to GOA for stipend for its boxers

Should the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) and the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) join gloves as it relates to the four-year plan submitted by the former, selected boxers could receive a stipend of $60,000 monthly.

This proposal was included in a four-year strategic development plan presented to the GOA upon request last week ahead of the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
