Cyclists renew rivalry with 75-mile road race Sunday

Following the season opener on January 28, the nation’s cyclists will renew their rivalry and unchain their competitive juices on Sunday with a 75-mile road race.

This is according to the Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) Assistant Racing Secretary, Joseph Britton. Britton told Stabroek Sport yesterday that the fixture, which is organized by the GCF, pedals off at 7:30hrs on Homestretch Avenue, proceeds to the Linden/Soesdyke Highway (in the proximity of the Coca Cola signboard) and returns to the point of origin for the finish.
