Marks is new president of bodybuilding federation

A new executive led by President Coel Marks has taken grip and will shoulder the weight of local bodybuilding affairs for the next two years.

Marks ascended to the helm of the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Inc., (GBBFFI) when the body held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday at Olympic House which coincided with the election of office bearers.

The 30-year-old businessman and former competitor takes over from former President, Attorney-at-Law, Keavon Bess after garnering 17 votes, three more than the latter who was at the helm for the past four years.

Marks and the Executive Members, Seon Satrohan (Vice President), Lisa Ahmad (General Secretary) and Roger Rogers (Treasurer) are now tasked with further extending the long strides the past executive made over the last two years.
