The Town Clerk of Georgetown, Royston King wrote to the Auditor General on Tuesday, 28th February, requesting that an audit of the Council’s stock and financial systems be done.
According to a press release from the City Council yesterday, this request forms part of a wider plan to secure the integrity of the Council’s financial systems and ensure good corporate governance.
