Edmond Pearson, a young promising Under 15 cricketer from Bareroot, East Coast Demerara, received a new pair of batting gloves and a bat from a few young entrepreneurs at the conclusion of the recent Demerara Inter-Association Under 15 competition.
Pearson, who played for East Coast, could not participate in the first match of the competition against West Demerara. However, he got the opportunity to play against Georgetown where he clobbered an impressive 57 not out, hitting four towering sixes and two fours.
