The University of Guyana (UG) will host its annual Inter Faculty Track and Field Championships tomorrow at the National Track and Field Centre at Leonora.
According to a release, athletes are scheduled to face the starter’s pistol at 9:00h with the 5000m (Men) followed by field events and the heats for the sprint races.
The March Past of participating faculties will be at 11:30h with the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ivelaw Griffith, expected to take the salute. The faculties are Agriculture & Forestry, Education & Humanities, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology, University of Guyana Berbice Campus (UGBC) and Institute of Distance and Continuing Education (IDCE).
