Attorney-at-law James Anthony Bond was elected president of the Guyana Chess Federation (GCF) last Sunday at Olympic House. Frankie Farley, social entrepreneur and the CEO of Silicon Green and Shukura resort, is his vice-president. Bond and his team encountered no challenges from the 25 persons, or thereabouts, who witnessed the election. The entire team of persons elected to office for the year 2017 is as follows:
