Aspects of European-Guyanese Heritage launched

Aspects of European-Guyanese Heritage, a book which shines light on the influences of European culture in Guyana was launched last night at the Pegasus Hotel.

The book contains articles by different writers, touching on History, Culture, Food, Architecture, and Religion dating back to the early days of the Europeans presence in Guyana.

The book is a collaborative effort between the National Trust of Guyana, the Guyana Heritage Society and the European Union (EU). Copies can be purchased from the National Trust of Guyana and the Guyana Heritage Society at a cost of $3,000. Copies will also be sent to every secondary school in the country.
