An inquest has been ordered into the death of four-year-old Ramkarran Mohan who was struck down on the Tuschen Housing Scheme Main Road, at East Bank Essequibo (EBE).
Stabroek News was reliably informed that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has advised that an inquest be conducted. A source said the advice was given based on the conflicting evidence, subsequent to a review of the file.
The file, which was put together after the investigation was completed, arrived at the DPP’s Chambers on March 27 for legal advice.
