A soldier was arrested on Monday evening in connection with the murder of Sophia bread vendor Andre Alexander and the police are currently pursuing a second suspect, who is said to be the triggerman.
Stabroek News was reliably informed that acting on information received, the police on Monday arrested the solider at a location in Georgetown. He remained in custody up to yesterday afternoon, up to which time efforts were still being made to locate the second suspect.
