A Number Two Village, East Canje, woman is presently nursing injuries to her throat after she was choked by a lone armed perpetrator, who invaded her home on Tuesday morning and robbed her of cash and jewellery.
The man has since been taken into custody.
According to Sabita Kellowan, also known as “Lalita”, 58, she resides at Lot 126 Lord Street, Number Two Village, East Canje, with her mother. She explained that around 8 am on Tuesday morning, she was making breakfast for her mother,
