Police on Tuesday evening discovered burnt remains suspected to be that of Bishundial Vasquez, who could not be found following a robbery at his worksite in Linden more than a week ago.
Samples have been taken for DNA testing.
Stabroek News was reliably informed that on Tuesday, a complaint was lodged at the Timehri Police Station of a marijuana field being cultivated behind the farm where Vasquez worked. As a result, a team of police visited the area and destroyed the field.
