The Government of Guyana has welcomed a donation of $5M from ExxonMobil Guyana, which will be handed over to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) to aid in relief efforts for flood affected areas in Cuyuni-Mazaruni (Region Seven) and Potaro-Siparuni (Region Eight).
A press release from the Ministry of the Presidency said that Senior Director, Public and Government Affairs at ExxonMobil Guyana, Kimberly Brasington made this commitment yesterday to Acting Director General of the CDC, Major Kester Craig.
