Bagotstown resident gets three years for 103 g of cannabis

“Call my mother and ask her to tell my children that I love them,” were the words spoken by a 25-year-old man yesterday, after he was sentenced to three years in jail for cannabis possession.

Carlsdale Aaron, of 180, Norton Street, Bagotstown, was read a charge which stated that he, on June 26, at John Street, Werk-en-Rust, had 102 grammes of cannabis in his possession for trafficking.

Aaron, a father of two, pleaded guilty to the crime after the charge was read by Magistrate Fabayo Azore.
