Aruba Air welcomed

Aruba Air welcomed: Aruba Air yesterday morning received a warm welcome into Guyana at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri with a traditional water salute. The airline’s inaugural flight into the country landed at 11:45 am with 150 passengers. Spokesman for the airline, Captain Gerry Gouveia, in a brief interview said that they are currently in a testing phase. The airline, he said, would be offering flights three times a week from the Dutch Caribbean island and the company would be releasing a press statement shortly. (Photo courtesy of Roraima Airways)
