Management committee donates table, chairs to Enmore Police

The Enmore Police Station Management Committee on Friday last donated a table and eight chairs for the use by ranks stationed at Enmore, a release from the committee said.

In his remarks, Committee Chairman Taajnauth Jadunauth stressed the importance of the continuing involvement of the members of the Management Committee in enhancing the comfort of ranks of the Enmore Police Station and referred to several instances since its inception in 2001 where various initiatives were employed in this regard.

The release said that he reminded attendees at the presentation that the Management Committee’s mandate is also to serve as a bridge to improve relations between the community of Enmore and the ranks of the Station. He said that the next project of the Committee was to provide fans for the Station.

In his remarks, Deputy Commander of “C” Division, Senior Superintendent Stanton thanked the members of the Management Committee for their  interest in the welfare of ranks at the Enmore Police Station and for their generosity over the years. He felt certain that the furniture will serve to improve the aesthetics at the Station and to motivate ranks to function more effectively.
