The Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC) yesterday hosted its 4th annual street fair at the Stabroek Market Square. The intention of the fair was to introduce the public to local manufacturers and thereby raise awareness of the existence of local value-added products. In attendance yesterday were as many as 20 manufacturers, who showcased a range of products, including soaps and detergents, juices and sauces, and even hair products. All products on display yesterday can be purchased at GMC (the Guyana Shop), located at Robb and Alexander streets.
