An injunction was yesterday filed against the newly installed executives of the Berbice Cricket Board seeking to prevent the officers of the board from executing its functions after what was deemed an illegitimate elections on Sunday.
The injunction was filed by Attorney-at-Law Arudranauth Gossai on behalf of stakeholders in the region. It seeks to restrain the current executives from carrying out any functions until the matter surrounding the fairness of Sunday’s elections is resolved.
