GPL donates to Cancer Institute

The Guyana Power and Light Incorporated (GPL Inc.) donated $400,000 to the Cancer Institute of Guyana yesterday at a ceremony held at the Institute’s Lamaha Street, Georgetown facility.

This donation formed part of GPL’s benevolent activities in honour of the Company’s 18th Anniversary celebrations and in observance of Cancer awareness month, the company said in a statement.
On Friday October 27, GPL Inc. also made a donation to the Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre.
