Police are counting on an autopsy to shed light on the cause of death of miner Kevin Dawson, whose partially-decomposed body was found on Monday in his Cumming’s Lodge apartment, where his unconscious wife was also found lying next him in their bed.
This is according to Commander of ‘C’ Division Calvin Brutus, who told Stabroek News in an invited comment yesterday that the dead man’s wife, Cindy Dawson, a teacher at a nursery school, was not in any condition to provide the police with any information on the incident. The woman remained hospitalised up to last evening.
