Stabbed Pomeroon woman recuperating

Thresha Griffith, the Essequibo woman who was stabbed late last month, has been discharged from the hospital and is at home recuperating.

Griffith, 29, of Nunes Canal, Lower Pomeroon River was stabbed several times about her body resulting in her being hospitalised for approximately a week in the Intensive Care Unit at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

According to her sister, Wanita (only name given), she was recently discharged, and is showing significant improvement.

The sister explained that Griffith had to undergo surgery during her stay at the hospital.

She remarked that since her sister was discharged from the hospital,
