The Ministerial Task Force on Trafficking in Persons (TIP) recently concluded a ‘Week of Activities’ from July 23-30, 2017 to mark World Day Against Trafficking in Persons which is observed on July 30, 2017.
A release from the Ministry of Public Security said that the activities began with an Awareness Walk in Region 5 from No. 30 Village to Fort Wellington Secondary School which was followed by Awareness Sessions and ‘Anti-TIP Flash Mob’ performances during the week at Stabroek Market,
Mon Repos Market and Giftland Mall. The week ended on July 30, 2017 with a walk from the Bank of Guyana to the Seawall Bandstand where a TIP Awareness Concert was held…..
