(Reuters) – Tropical Storm Ophelia is expected to strengthen into a hurricane by Wednesday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory on Monday.
The storm, located about 785 miles (1260 km) west-southwest of the Azores in the Atlantic, was packing maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour (85 km/h), the NHC said.
