Woman charged with harming neighbour after helping husband carry out cutlass attack

Napula Baptiste, who allegedly aided her husband’s cutlass attack on her neighbour, was on Monday faced with a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Baptiste, 30, of Charlestown, was charged in a city court with inflicting grievous bodily harm on Anthony Bartholomew on October 4 at Queen Street, Tiger Bay.

Baptiste, a vendor, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
