Three held for robbing pastor after ramming car

Police have arrested three suspects in the robbery of a Haslington, East Coast Demerara pastor, who was attacked shortly after he exited a city bank on Wednesday.

According to a Guyana Police Force statement, it was the admission by one of the men of his involvement in the crime that led to the arrest of the others. However, the police are still searching for another suspect.

A police source told Stabroek News that the pastor, 66-year-old Eldon Anderson, had left his home around 8.45 am on Wednesday with a large quantity of cash in his possession.
