Man gets 50 months for robbery of Brazilian national, driver

One of the four men accused of robbing a Brazilian woman and her driver will be spending the next 50 months in jail after he admitted to the crimes yesterday.

It is alleged that on November 24th, at Bel Air Springs, the man identified as Kelon Emperor and two others, Leon Smartt and Nzumi Scipio, used a gun to rob Tasia Da Silva and Daveanand Cooblall.

They allegedly robbed Da Silva of an iPhone 8 plus, valued $200,000, a Samsung phone, valued $20,000, a gold chain, valued $25,000, a gold band, valued $20,000, $277,000 in cash and a purse valued at $7,000, while they allegedly robbed Cooblall of  an iPhone, valued $150,000.
