A miner who the police say they had on their radar for quite some time was on Monday morning arrested at his home located at 111 Miles Mahdia, Potaro River, Region 8, for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
The police said on Monday that a search of his premises at about 11:30 am revealed 10.9 kilogrammes of compressed cannabis concealed in two ten-gallon plastic pails.
The suspect, 52, who goes by the alias `Glasses’ is to be charged shortly.
