Hamilton Green Cup tournament set to resume Wednesday

The Hamilton Green Football Cup tournament will resume on Wednesday at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) ground, Linden with a doubleheader.

At 19:00hrs, Silver Shattas will lock horns with East Coast Demerara unit Plaisance FC while the feature contest will pit Eagles United against Kuru-Kururu from 21:00hrs.

The event will continue two days later at the same venue. In the opening match, Winners Connection will oppose Riddim Squad from 19:00hrs while Milerock will battle Georgetown Football Club (GFC) at 21:00hrs.

The first prize is $500,000 and the Minister of Citizenship Trophy while the runners-up will pocket $250,000 and the Busta Trophy and the third place finisher $150,000 and the John Fernandes Trophy.

The fourth place finisher will walk away with $100,000 and the Cummings Electrical Trophy.
