Hamilton Green Cup tournament resumes today with doubleheader

The Hamilton Green Football Cup will resume today with an exciting doubleheader at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) ground, Linden. At 19:00hrs, Silver Shattas lock horns with East Coast of Demerara’s  Plaisance FC. The feature contest will pit Eagles United against Kuru-Kururu from 21:00hrs.

The event will continue on Sunday at the same venue. In the opening match, Winners Connection opposes Riddim Squad from 19:00hrs, while Milerock battles Georgetown Football Club (GFC) art 21:00hrs.

Action will then continue on Sunday September 17th at the Victoria Community ground. Winner of the tournament will receive $500,000 and the Minister of Citizenship Trophy.

Meanwhile, the runners-up will pocket $250,000 and the Busta Trophy, while the third place finisher will collect $150,000 and the John Fernandes accolade.

The fourth place finisher will walk away with $100,000 and the Cummings Electrical Trophy.
