Reifer’s ton hands West Demerara first day advantage

Raymon Reifer stroked a fine century allowing West Demerara to post a strong first innings total against Georgetown in fifth round action of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)/Jaguars three-day franchise league at the Tuschen Sports Club Ground, yesterday.

West Demerara won the toss and elected to bat scoring 333 all – out off 97.3 overs on the back of Reifer’s century.

He was eventually adjudged lbw for an even 100 and received support from Romario Shepherd who posted 52, the two featuring in a fourth-wicket partnership of 107.
