Twenty-year-old National Squash player Nyron Joseph yesterday for the third time in the career, captured the annual Ansa McAl Lucozade national open handicap squash tournament after defeating Jonathan Antczak two gruelling sets to one at the Georgetown Club Squash court.

It was a special effort from Joseph who on the basis of his seeding, was required to start the contest at minus 22 while Antczak had a plus-seven advantage.

Joseph, however, captured the first set 15 – 13 while the underdog Antczak who had the backing of the small crowd, took the second set 15 – 12 even as he made several unforced errors.
