Covers have been placed over drains, allowing residents and owners along Montrose, East Coast Demerara to better access their properties.
This move follows complaints received last week by Stabroek News from business owners that the lack of covers was affecting their business and general access to their properties.
When Stabroek News visited the area again yesterday, several covers were observed to have been placed; based on enquiries, the work was done on Sunday, much to the satisfaction of residents and business owners.
