Guyana was represented at the 20th International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologist World Congress by a contingent of eleven, which was the first to represent Guyana at the forum.
The conference, which exposed the participants to technological advances within the field and encouraged academic engagement among the delegates, was held from April 12th to April 15th in Trinidad, where it was attended by 447 persons from 50 countries.
Six of the Guyanese delegates, photographed above with the President of The Society of Radiographers of Trinidad and Tobago Aleth Bruce, were afforded the opportunity to present their research papers during the event.
